Lucy Ruth Salmon (room 255) supports the Head of Cooperation and Communication and the Deputy Head of the Communications Team with the Institute's press and communications. This includes media relations, writing, editing, and translation for the website and social media, as well as print and communication design. Lucy is also responsible for the curation of the Center for the History of Knowledge website and the production of the centers joint Berlin course catalog (the KVV, or Kommentiertes Vorlesungsverzeichnis).
Lucy is currently completing her Masters degree in art and visual history at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Her research traces the cultural history of the body, clothing, and medicine through its representation in visual media. She places a focus on transcultural perspectives of visual history.
