Jun Zhang (room 255) supports the Communications Team at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. This includes recording, editing, and maintaining the Institute’s audiovisual media productions. Jun is also responsible for website editing, databases, and archive work.
Jun Zhang is currently completing his master's degree in film studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. For his master's thesis, he is dealing with the aesthetics of films that are written and shot by artificial intelligence. He studied journalism and communication science and film studies for his bachelor's degree. His research interests lie in the sociology of film, gender studies and culture in advertising and film, the aesthetics of Korean films and artificial intelligence in media. He occasionally works as a photographer and videographer.
