My research interests and work have been in the history and philosophy of science, gender and medicine, the history of medicine in modern Taiwan, STS, controversy studies, and the history of Chinese science, including Chinese mathematics/geometry, and especially the pan-notes "Meng-Xi Bitan" (Pen Talks from the Dream Brook). In 2005, my book Assembling the New Body: Gender/Sexuality, Medicine, and Modern Taiwan, was published in Chinese.
