Event

Nov 2, 2021
Digital Publications in the Humanities

Event by the Research Data Management of the Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL).

Digital means and open-access policies are changing the landscape of scientific publishing in the humanities and social sciences, too. The workshop wants to explore both major challenges and concrete solutions in a highly dynamic interdisciplinary field of scientific practice. It aims at sharing past experience and visions for future developments. Speakers and participants (especially from the GSHS) from different sectors such as digital humanities, publication management, research data management, libraries, public relations are invited to share their knowledge. At the same time, we will discuss perspectives for further development and possibilities for cooperation within the MPG.

The workshop will focus on exchange. So we would like to ask you what issues in digital publishingare currently on your mind? And what would you or your colleagues like to talk about and share? Such urgent topics of conversation would help us to organize the appropriate talks.
