Huiying Chen

Huiying Chen is a doctoral student in History at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is completing her PhD dissertation on the history of travel in eighteenth-century China. In 2017–2019 she was a visiting graduate student fellow at the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. At the MPIWG, she will be working with the Local Gazetteers Working Group in Department III.
