Kerstin Hinrichsen

Kerstin Hinrichsen is Department II’s Research Officer.

Before joining MPIWG, she held positions as advisor to the board at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), as coordinator of the MA program in European Studies at European-University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and as research coordinator for the Center for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin. She studied cultural studies and Eastern European history in Frankfurt (Oder), Wroclaw and Berkeley and holds a PhD in History.
