Fabio Dominik De Gregorio
Visiting Predoctoral Fellow (2023–2024)
Fabio De Gregorio earned his magister theologiae from the Protestant Church in Germany and a Master’s degree in Protestant theology from the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in 2019, having studied theology, philosophy, and cultural studies in Marburg and Berlin. During and after his studies, he worked at the Department of New Testament at Philipps-Universität Marburg and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin. Since 2021, he has been a doctoral student at the Technische Universität Berlin, with a PhD scholarship at the Heinrich Böll Foundation. For his doctoral dissertation, Fabio is currently researching the medieval Latin-into-Hebrew transmission of Albert the Great’s natural science in the context of cross-cultural European knowledge-making. In early 2023, he rejoined the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science as a Predoctoral Fellow in Katja Krause’s research group “Experience in the Premodern Sciences of Soul and Body ca. 800–1650.”
