Leendert van der Miesen

Leendert van der Miesen studied musicology and art studies at the University of Amsterdam and received his MA degree there in 2016. His research interests include the relationship between music, science, and processes of knowledge formation in the early modern period. His current project deals with the role of musical instruments and experiments in seventeenth-century acoustics and its links to a broader material culture of music.
