Brent Ho

Brent Ho has a PhD in Computer Science from the National Taiwan University, Taiwan (2013); an MS in Computer Science from National Taiwan University, Taiwan (2004); and a BS in Computer Science and Information Management from National Chi Nan University, Taiwan (2002). Alongside his position as IT Researcher at the MPIWG, he is a Guest Researcher at the Institute for Area Studies (LIAS), Leiden University and Subject Specialist Librarian Ostasien, Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin. Prior to this Brent was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Area Studies (LIAS), Leiden University. His work focuses on transforming historical texts into data for computerized analysis.
