Regularity Theory of Causation

The regularity theory of causality of Graßhoff/May (2001) was able to refute an important objection against theories of regularity with the “Hooters problem” formulated by Mackie in 1974. This project investigates whether this theory can be successfully applied to thus far unsolved problems of an analysis of causal relations. The proposed theory of regularity is both systematically appealing and finds its application in causal algorithms.
