Rules with Lorraine Daston

Director Emerita Lorraine Daston discusses her new book Rules: A Short History of What We Live By on an episode of the Examining Ethics Podcast by the Prindle Institute for Ethics. Daston explains that many rules that seem unrelated to morality—for example spelling rules—frequently get tied to deep-seated values in a society.
