Sabine von Fischer’s article “A Visual lmprint of Moving Air: Methods, Models, and Media in Architectural Sound Photography, ca. 1930” has just been awarded the 2018 Founders’ Award by the Society of Architectural Historians. Every year the Founders’ Award is presented for an outstanding JSAH article written by an emerging scholar in the previous two years. Sabine v. Fischer worked on the topic during her visit to the Max Planck Research Group “Epistemes of Modern Acoustics” in 2015.
