The Museo Liceo Egipcio de León (MLE) has honored Director Jürgen Renn with an MLE History Award.

The MLE is a private and independent institution dedicated to research, education, and dissemination of the culture and history of Ancient Egypt and its importance in the development of today's societies. The MLE awards are awarded annually rewarding contributions to the development of history, the arts, culture, science, and social work.
