Aristotelisms in Syriac and Arabic

After two workshops about the „Aristotelisation in classical antiquity“ the series continues with a discussion of Syriac and Arabic traditions between the 6th and the 10th centuries. This meeting focuses on works of Sergius of Resh‘ayna in Syriac and Abū Yūsuf Yaʻqūb b. ʼIsḥāq al-Kindī, Abū Bishr Mattā b. Yūnus and others in Arabic.
