The Anthropocene Project took place as a two-year program between the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) and Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. Together with further partners, the project framed key concerns on the nascent hypothesis of the Anthropocene. It engaged scientists, humanists, and artists in an extensive program of artistic and public events, exhibitions, research forums, and publications.
