Venezia: città dell’antropocene

Pietro Daniel Omodeo, who teaches Philosophy of Science, explains the meaning of the Anthropocene through Venice, telling us how the city has been an extraordinary example of the relationship between human beings and the environment since the past.

Elisa Moretti, on the other hand, is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry of Nanomaterials and talks to us about sustainability, from road pollution in the nineteenth century to that of today. A solution could come from water, as Jules Verne prophesied back in 1874.
