Historian of Science Lorraine Daston receives the Gerda Henkel Prize.

As announced by the Gerda Henkel Foundation, the handover of the € 100,000 prize will take place in Düsseldorf next May. Daston receives the award for her research in the field of the history of science. The jury's statement stated that Daston was impressively successful in making her findings, for example on the concept of truth in science, fruitful for central debates today.
