On May 30, 2018, Journalist-in-Residence Julia Voss launched with Julia Grosse “The Situation,” a new podcast series (in German) that explores current themes with curators, biologists, lawyers, artists and musicians. The first topic: What's behind the global art hype? 

Guests include Elke Buhr (Editor-in-Chief, Monopol), Daniel Lieberberg (Sony Music Entertainment, President Continental Europe & Africa), and Nahed Samour (Lawyer and Scholar, Humboldt University/Harvard Law School).

Julia Voss, writer and art critic at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, is based in Department II at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science until July 2018.
