The MPIWG Research Group “Experience in the Premodern Sciences of Soul and Body ca. 800-1650” (RG Krause) seeks to appoint a Research Scholar starting November 1, 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter, for two years, with a fixed-term, non-renewable employment contract.

We invite applications from scholars whose work takes up some aspect of the research agenda of RG Krause for the Premodern Arabic World. Outstanding junior and senior scholars with excellent knowledge of classical Arabic (knowledge in other Semitic and/or classical languages is most desirable), and with suitable experience in the history of science, history of philosophy, history of medicine, or other relevant fields are invited to apply.
