Research Scholar Lisa Onaga Edits Special Volume of "positions: asia critique"

Senior Research Scholar Lisa Onaga, with Harry Yi-Jui Wu, has edited a special volume of positions: asia critique (volume 26, issue 2).

The volume arises from a multidisciplinary workshop, “Exposure and Effect: Measuring Safety, Environment, and Life in Asia,” held at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2014. The workshop shared scholarship and information from different fields in the humanities and social sciences, to comprehend the significance and meanings of unwanted particulates in the environment and society among diverse historical and contemporary places.

Examples from Asia are provided in this volume to highlight the significance of locations and fieldworks that facilitate the development of science.
