PhD Position: Mathematics & Multilayer Network Models for Humanities

The University of Trento (Faculty of Mathematics, Program of Mathematics), together with the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, is recruiting for a PhD position on "Network Models for Digital Humanities: A Multilayer Approach."

This position is financed by the Fondazione Bruno Kessler in cooperation with the "Sphere Project" at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. The primary workplace is Trento, Italy, with a secondary base (for several months a year) in Berlin, Germany. The required language is English.

The PhD is primarily supervised by Manlio de Domenico, Head of the “Complex Multilayer Network (CoMuNe)” research unit at the “Center for Information Technology" of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
