Energy Transition 2030: Europe's Path to Climate Neutrality

Academy logosWith its European Green Deal, the European Union has set itself the goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. One important component is an energy transition that leads away from the use of fossil fuels and towards the generation and use of renewable energies.

With their statement "Energy Transition 2030: Europe's Path to Climate Neutrality," (Energiewende 2030: Europas Weg zur Klimaneutralität (2020)) the academies present a handout for the German EU Presidency from July 1, 2020.
