Carola Oßmer Wins Forum for History of Human Science Article Prize

FHHS LogoVisiting Predoctoral Fellow Carola Oßmer has won the Forum for History of Human Science (FHHS) prize for the best article recently published on the history of the human sciences. Her article "Normal Development: The Photographic Dome and the Children of the Yale Psycho-Clinic," published in Isis: A Journal of the History of Science Society (Vol. 111, No. 3), explores the history of normality through a photographic research program.

The FHHS, founded in 1988, is an Interest Group within the History of Science Society (HSS). Its members are interested in furthering scholarship in the history of human science and award a biennial prize for the best scientific article exploring aspects of the history of the human sciences.
