Ambix Special Issue Marks Work of Senior Research Scholar Ursula Klein

An Ambix journal issue has been published to mark the work of Senior Research Scholar Ursula Klein, following her 2016 HIST Award for Outstanding Achievement in the History of Chemistry. The four articles in "Paper Tools from the 1780s to the 1960s: Nomenclature, Classification, and Representations" (Ambix vol. 65, no. 1, 2018), edited by Mary Jo Nye and Stephen J. Weininger, cohere around major themes in Klein's work. They focus in particular on the role of paper tools such as classifications, models, diagrams, and formulas in chemical investigation and documentation.
