Student Assistant (Research Group Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program)

The Max Planck Research Group Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program, headed by Dr. Alexander Blum, is looking to employ one Student Assistant (up to 10 hours per week) at the earliest possible date and until September 30, 2023, with the possibility of extension.

Duties:

Range from general support of the Group’s work, to carrying out scientific research and compiling of literature for the Research Group Leader and other Group members, supporting project members with the organization of scientific events, the maintenance and updating of the department website and helping to maintain databases and digital repositories.

Requirements:

We expect applications from candidates with very good English and German skills. Native English speakers are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be at least in their second semester of study at a university in Berlin or Brandenburg. They should have a good working knowledge of modern information technology and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

More Information:

The weekly working time is up to 10 hours. The salary is based on the rates for student employees within the framework of the Max Planck Society's promotion of young scientists. It is currently 12.00 euros for bachelor students and 13.95 euros for students in a master program who have a bachelor's degree.
