How can scientific questions and problems be approached by using acts of imagination (visual arts, literature, and theater)? In what ways can fiction be used to think about science differently?
This short series of seminars, organized by Jonathan Morton (under the aegis of the Research Group "Experience in the Premodern Sciences of Soul & Body ca. 800–1650," led by Katja Krause), has as its focus the relation between science and fiction. The aim is to travel back and forth across disciplines, thinking carefully about the possibilities and limits of invention and non-linear, creative ways of thinking about science, about the environment, and about technology.
