Dan David Award Ceremony
Director Lorraine Daston was awarded the prestigious international Dan David Prize at an awards ceremony in Tel Aviv, where she also gave a talk on the future of the history of science. Named after the Israeli businessman Dan David, the prize is awarded every year to people who have excelled in the technological, scientific, social or cultural fields. Each year fields are chosen within the three Time Dimensions—Past, Present and Future. This year, awards were given in the history of science, bioethics and personalized medicine.
