Department 1 is looking to employ a student assistant with good knowledge of English (up to 80 hours per month)

Other requirements:

Applicants must be in at least their third semester of study at a university in Berlin or Brandenburg. They should have a good working knowledge of modern information technology and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Native English speakers with a good command of German are encouraged to apply.

The position, starting as soon as possible, is initially limited until , 2016 with the possibility of extension.

Duties:

Assisting with editorial work on scientific texts (especially in English and German), assisting with the language and copyediting of scientific manuscripts, assisting project members with the organization of scientific events and helping to maintain databases and digital repositories.

The salary is paid according to the rates for student employment in the frame of the Max Planck Society’s program to support junior scientists (10,98 Euro/hour).
