The very first issue of Nature was published on November 4, 1869. Berlin Science Week celebrates with a lecture by Editor-in-Chief, Magdalena Skipper, on “150 Years of Life-Changing Research.”
Our Research Scholar Roberto Lalli will kick off the event with a keynote on editorial practices in scientific publishing from the nineteenth century to the present.
The event is open to the public, who will have the opportunity to see on display the very first issue of Nature and a collection of historical papers published in the journal. A networking reception will conclude the event.
