Postdoctoral Fellow Sought for Research Group on the Final Theory Program (deadline December 19, 2019)

The Max Planck Research Group "Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program," headed by Dr. Alexander Blum, is seeking one Postdoctoral Fellow, starting as early as March 1, 2020, for one year, with an employment contract and the possibility of extension by an additional year.

The position is closely related to the research agenda of the group. The research group pursues interdisciplinary research at the intersection of history of science and physics. We are seeking an outstanding junior scholar with a background in physics, history of physics, or philosophy of physics. At the time the position begins, candidates should hold a doctorate in one of these fields (PhD achieved in 2016 or later).
