Trained in the history of science at University of Science and Technology of China, Longfei Chu concentrates his research on the history of astronomy. He works on the dissemination of the European astronomy in 16th century China. His current work is about Xue Fengzuo’s薛鳳祚 (1600-1680) astronomical works, who was one of the most important astronomers in the early Qing dynasty.
