Hong Hong Tinn

Ph.D.

Honghong Tinn received her PhD in Science & Technology Studies from Cornell University, and has worked at Tembusu College and Asia Research Institute at the National University of Singapore. Her dissertation examined the historical relationships among transnational exchanges of scientific and technological expertise, computing technology, and development discourses in Taiwan during the Cold War. Her current research project looks at the history of economist Wassily Leontief’s inter-industry input-output analysis and its global circulation. She currently serves as the convener of the book review board for East Asian Science, Technology, and Society: An International Journal. She will be teaching at Earlham College in the fall of 2015.
