Adrien De Sutter

Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow (Feb 2023-Jan 2025)

Adrien De Sutter gained an MSc in Astrophysics from University College London, and a MAst in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. Following a period working in the technology sector in academic research management and collaboration, he completed an MSc in Science, Technology, and Society from the University College London.

In 2016, he was awarded a "1+3" ESRC studentship by the London Social Science (LSS) Doctoral Training Centre to conduct his doctoral research at Goldsmiths, University of London. His PhD project entitled The Problem of Cosmology: On the Challenges of Cosmological Inquiry seeks to understand the scientific practice of modern physical cosmology and its significance to other modes of inquiring into cosmos.

At the MPIWG, Adrien is a member of the Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program Research Group.
