Simone Turchetti gained his PhD from the University of Manchester in 2003. Simone’s research interests cover twentieth-century science and technology, geophysics and allied disciplines, relations between scientific community and intelligence organizations, scientific migrations, historiography of science, and science policy. He teaches at masters’ level on a variety of subjects including the history of the geosciences, the development of surveillance technology, and the uses of science and technology in international relations.
