Profile

Lotte Schüßler is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Cultural History and Theory at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She holds a BA in theater studies, French, and comparative literature and an MA in theater studies, both from the Freie Universität Berlin. Her dissertation project examines the intersections between popular theater exhibitions and the disciplines of the humanities in the German-speaking countries around 1900. Her research focuses on visual and sound material from these exhibitions, taking a historical approach to the study of media.
