Hannah Wiemer

Hannah Wiemer is a postdoctoral research fellow in cultural studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She completed her PhD dissertation, entitled “Camouflage: Landscape Readings between Theatre, Arts, and War, 1914–45,” at the Freie Universität Berlin in April 2018. In 2017, she worked as coordinator and research associate at the arts graduate school of the Universität der Künste Berlin. From 2014 to 2016, she was a fellow of the doctoral program at the Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung (ZfL), Berlin. At the MPIWG, she is a member of the Research Group “Epistemes of Modern Acoustics,” working on strategies of sound masking.
