Anja Sattelmacher

Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow (Sep 2016-Aug 2018)

MA, Berliner Zentrum für Wissensgeschichte

I am a predoctoral fellow, finishing my PhD on mathematical models in the context of scientific practice in the late 19th century. I started my PhD-project at the University of Tübingen, before changing with my supervisor to the chair of history of science at the Humboldt-University of Berlin (Department of History). I was also a research fellow at the Gradutate School of Humanities at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen.

I am interested in the history of scientific objects and the epistemic value of their materiality, as well as modelling practices within the context of universities and technical colleges.
