Sarah Volpers

Web Editing and Public Relations Assistant

Sarah Volpers is the Web Editing and Public Relations Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. Her responsibilities include coordinating the Institute's digital and print media, supporting communications initiatives such as media engagement and public events, and assisting with research management activities.

Sarah received her bachelor's and master's degrees in history from Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU). During her master’s studies, she also earned a certificate in Intercultural Communication at LMU. After completing her studies, she undertook a one-year traineeship at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich, focusing on digital communication, before moving to Berlin. There, she initially worked as a sabbatical substitute in the press and public relations office of the Akademienunion before joining the RCM team at the MPIWG in February 2026.
