Ke is a PhD candidate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, majoring in Computational Linguistics and interested in Digital Humanities. Before that, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from East China Normal University and her master’s degree from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In November 2025, she joined the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science as a visiting predoctoral fellow to enhance her PhD project, “The Knowledge Integration of The Classic of Mountains: Reconstructing Ancient Ecological and Geographical Knowledge Heritage with Artificial Intelligence.” The project has been named one of the “Top 10 Innovative Exploratory Projects” and awarded funds in Tencent's "Tanyuan Project 2024." Ke is fascinated by both the humanities and technology. In her research, she seeks to use digital methods to explore issues in the humanities, aiming to bridge the two different fields while extending the research scope of both.
