Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG), Berlin, Department III is looking to employ two Student Assistants up to 19 hours per week to start as soon as possible, limited until 31 March 2023, with the possibility of extension.

Native Chinese speakers with a good command of German and/or English and native German speakers with a good command of Chinese and/or English are encouraged to apply. Ability to read classical Chinese is considered an advantage. Applicants must be enrolled at a university in Berlin or Brandenburg, and those without a bachelor’s degree should be in at least their third semester of study. They should have a good working knowledge of modern information technology and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
