Commoning Biomedicine Receives an Honorable Mention as Part of the Neu-Whitrow Prize 2025

- Commoning Biomedicine: Networking Decentralized Collections of Oral Histories
The Commission on Bibliography, Archives, and Records of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology/Division of History of Science and Technology (IUHPST/DHST) has awarded the project “Commoning Biomedicine: An Open Source Network for Oral Histories Online” an Honorable Mention as part of the 2025 Neu-Whitrow Prize.
The Neu‑Whitrow Prize is an international award presented quadrennially that recognizes outstanding and truly innovative research tools—both print-based and digital—for managing, documenting, and analyzing sources in the history of science and technology. Eligible entries include bibliographies, archival finding aids, and scholarly resource‑discovery tools.
The 2025 Honorable Mention was announced at the 27th International Congress of History of Science and Technology, which was held from the June 29 to July 5, 2025, at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
