Neutrality versus Partiality in Feminist Critiques of Science

Feminist scholars have criticized both specific contents of the sciences and the methods by which scientific content is evaluated.  How can feminists expect their criticism to be effective if they are committed to different methodological standards than those they criticize?  This talk will explore this conundrum and suggest a conception of scientific knowledge that dissolves the air of paradox.
