A Green-Colored Leaf Called Tabaġa: Early Ottoman Inquiries into an American Plant

The Department III Colloquia are regular meetings for the department members to discuss our work in progress, to comment, and to help each other in our writing process. The format is a discussion of a pre-circulated paper, led by an introductory comment by an external discussant. 

The external discussant for this session is Birgit Näther (Freie Universität Berlin). Carolin Roeder, Postdoctoral Fellow in Dept. III, will act as internal discussant to help foster the discussion.

Attendance is mandatory for Department III members; those from other Departments and Research Groups are welcome! Due to space restrictions, we ask non-Dept. III participants to register in advance. Please send an email to event_dept3@mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de  if you would like to attend. We have ten spaces for visitors outside of the department.
