Conserving Community-based Palestinian Environmental Knowledge

We welcome Omar Tesdell, an associate professor in the Department of Geography at Birzeit University in Palestine, whose research works to make more climate-adapted, resilient, and just agricultural landscapes. Together, we will explore some of the methods he uses to document, map, and conserve community-based Palestinian environmental knowledge, from aerial photography and seed collecting to walks in the wild and oral history interviews with older men and women.
