Oriana Walker

Oriana was awarded her PhD at Harvard University in 2016. Her research and teaching interests are the History of Medicine and the Body (sixteenth to the twenty-first century), Historical Epistemology, History and Anthropology of East Asian Medicine, and History of the Mind Sciences. The subject of her doctoral thesis was “The Breathing Self: Toward a History of Respiration.” She was twice awarded the Harvard University Certificate of Distinction in Teaching.
