Elizabeth Hughes

Elizabeth Hughes received her BA in art history and French from the University of Puget Sound and her MA in art history from the Freie Universität Berlin. She provides editorial support and publication management to the Research Group “Practices of Validation in the Biomedical Sciences.” In addition, Elizabeth is currently co-leading the Working Group “Biomedical Visions: Aesthetics, Epistemology, and Medical Practice,” an interdisciplinary project between scholars and artists that examines how images fundamentally shape medical and public understanding of illness and health.
