Charlotte Bigg completed her thesis on “Behind the lines: Spectroscopic Enterprises in early thwentieth century Europe” and was awarded her PhD by the University of Cambridge in May 2002.

Lucia Dacome completed her thesis on “Policing bodies and balancing minds: self and representation in eighteenth-century Britain” and was awarded her PhD by the University of Cambridge in December 2000.

Emmanuel Didier completed his thesis on “De L’échantillon à la population. Sociologie de la généralisation par sondage aux Etats-Unis avant la seconde guerre mondiale” and was awarded his PhD by the University of Paris in December 2000.

Marion Hulverscheidt completed her thesis on “Weibliche Genitalverstümmelung. Diskussion und Praxis in der deutschsprachigen Medizin während des 19. Jahrhunderts” and was awarded her PhD by the University of Göttingen in July 2001.

Ohad Parnes completed his thesis on “Agents of Life and Disease” and was awarded his PhD by the Tel Aviv University in January 2001.

Ilaria Lo Tufo completed her thesis on “Rétif de la Bretonnés. La Découverte australe and the Global Reshaping of Society” and was awarded her PhD by the Darwin College, Cambridge in September 2000.

Simon Werret completed his thesis on “An Odd Sort of Exhibition: the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences in Enlightened Russia” and was awarded his PhD by the Cambridge University in June 2000.
