Profile
I work primarily on the history of Indian, Islamic and early modern Latin mathematics and mathematical astronomy. My current project, in collaboration with Dr Clemency Montelle of the University of Canterbury under the auspices of the New Zealand Royal Society, is an investigation of second-millennium developments in the genres of Sanskrit astronomical tables and handbooks.Selected publications
