Circulation in Nineteenth-Century France: Blood, Water, and Railroads
The project focuses on the notion of circulation as related to infrastructure of transportation services and public works in mid nineteenth-century France; a particular interest lies in the development of the railroad network and of the sanitary reform or assainissement of Paris.
