Profile

Alrun is a PhD candidate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. As visiting predoctoral scholar in Department I, she collaborates with Alexander Blum to prepare an edition of letters by Wolfgang Pauli to Paul Rosbaud.

 

After studying history of science at the Technische Universität and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, she received a Herzog Ernst scholarship from the Fritz Thyssen Foundation for her research on cartographic publishing at Perthes Verlag. Alrun has worked as research fellow at the chair for the history of science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is now an affiliate member of the graduate school “Cultures of Decision-Making” at the University of Münster. Her PhD thesis, which is funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation, focusses on scientists as advisers for science publishers Springer, Wiley and others up until the 1960s.
